Whether you’re cleaning up community parks, planting trees, or helping at a local shelter, every action you take makes a difference. 🌱 Sign up to participate in a Youth Volunteer Corps Project: Gather your friends or classmates and locate a Youth Volunteer Corps affiliate near you by visiting Find A YVC. Click on the nearest YVC affiliate and visit their website. Check out the list of upcoming projects they have listed and register to participate!
📣 Spread the Word: Use your voice to inspire others to volunteer. Share your volunteering experiences on social media, start conversations about the importance of giving back, and encourage your peers to join you in making a difference. Be sure to tag YVC on Facebook and Instagram!
🎨 Participate in Volunteer For 15: Youth Volunteer Corps has teamed up with 15 & the Mahomies Foundation to launch the Volunteer For 15 program. Head over to the V15 webpage to check out how you can partner with Patrick Mahomes and other youth to complete the challenge!
📚 Learn and Grow: Take this opportunity to learn more about global issues and how you can help address them. Attend workshops, read books, or watch documentaries that deepen your understanding of social and environmental challenges. Be sure to talk to your Youth Volunteer Corps Program Director about what you have learned! You could help plan the next YVC volunteer project!
