Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser Benefitting YOUR Local YVC!
At a time when the world feels divided, the YVC Walk for Compassion is one way YVC is working to bring people together.
Hosted at affiliate locations throughout the YVC network, the Walk for Compassion is a peer-to-peer fundraiser that benefits YOUR local YVC program. Every dollar raised goes towards supporting efforts to engage youth in team-based service experiences that not only help youth grow in crucial life and work skills but also make a difference in communities around the world.
Research shows that togetherness is something we all benefit from, so join us in working to create a community defined by connectedness – join us in building compassion!
When does the YVC Walk for Compassion take place?
Fundraising begins August 1 and runs through the first full weekend of September. At the end of fundraising, each YVC program will hold a walkathon event (details, requirements, and locations vary by affiliate).
How can I participate?
Reach out to your local YVC program for information on how to join in. Not sure where the closest YVC program is? Find a YVC program.
If your affiliate is not participating or if there is no YVC program in your community, you can still participate; just reach out to fundraising@yvc.org for more information or donate today.
Can I still contribute if I am unable to join the final walkathon?
Absolutely! You can donate through your local affiliate’s Walk for Compassion page or directly to YVC.
