Impact Grant Application
Purpose
The Impact Grant supports affiliates in conducting youth-led service projects that create meaningful community impact while teaching youth various construction/STEM skills.
Eligibility
Only active YVC affiliates in good standing are eligible for affiliate grants. Affiliates in good standing are current on all fees or dues payments, data collection, or reports for YVC (as applicable). Grant funding preference is given to affiliates who effectively follow YVC’s 8 program standards. This includes fidelity to the YVC model, Summit participation, timely and comprehensive reporting, and responsiveness to Headquarters staff from all grantees.
Projects must:
- Engage youth in construction or STEM skills
- Provide a clear community benefit
- Be completed within 90 days of approval
- Engage a minimum of 3 unduplicated youth
- Preferably a minimum of 2 hours of service per youth
Affiliates may be limited to one grant per funding cycle.
- Note for Gold-Level affiliates: Depending on available funds, we may consider providing additional funding toward your project supplies. Please submit a brief budget overview if you would like us to consider covering a portion of project supplies. Funding for project supplies is limited and not guaranteed. Funding will not exceed $1200 total. (Optional)
Social Media Requirement
Affiliates must complete one (1) social media post either before, during, or at the project’s completion.
Calculate Preliminary Award
Total Youth Service Hours X $7.50 = Grant (ex. 10 Service hours X $7.50 = $75)
Maximum Award
If amount is above $1,200 → Award = $1,200
Grant Type
- Pre-approval, post-project reimbursement
- Funding is limited and awarded on a rolling basis
- Projects must be approved 30 days before starting
Grant Report
Funding will be sent after end of grant report submission and final review.

- Short summary of the project’s impact
- 1–3 project photos
- Expense documentation
- Social media links or screenshots
